Who is the Grow business support programme for?

Our Grow pathway is designed for health and wellbeing businesses with up to 50 employees that are already trading and looking to grow, develop new products or services, or expand into new markets.

What support is available through the business support programme?

Support may include access to co-working, specialist mentoring, innovation workshops, business planning, funding guidance, product development consultancy and technology and links to academic or NHS partners.

Is the business support programme fully funded?

Support is fully funded for up to two years depending on your membership start date. After this period, some services may be chargeable.

Do I need to apply to access Grow support?

Elements of the business support programme is application-based and subject to eligibility and availability, including mentoring, co-working and product development consultancy. To apply fill out this form.

How do I know if I am eligible?

Eligibility is typically based on business stage, location (based in West Yorkshire or looking to settle in the region) and alignment with the health and wellbeing sector. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.

Can I use co-working space as part of business support programme?

Co-working is available by application at three Huddersfield locations – The Glass Box, 3M BIC and HBIC. It is for members who are actively innovating or starting new ventures in health, wellbeing or life sciences.

Eligible members can apply and select a designated ‘hub’ that fits their needs and, if approved, can access up to three days of co-working per week under our fair-use policy. Find out more.

Can I get subsidised office or lab space as part of the project?
